Music therapy is an allied health profession that is increasingly being represented in government policy and government-funded programs and services. healthy partnerships has been providing Australian Music Therapy Association with advocacy support since 2021. Our advocacy support has resulted in positive and ongoing relationships with key policy and decision-makers and the development of various fact sheets, strategies, tools, communications and resources used at a national level. healthy partnerships‘ advocacy support has contributed to the inclusion of music therapy in government-funded programs such as the Victorian Mental Health in Schools program.
