For this project, healthy partnerships drew together the various policy directive, national position paper and commission recommendations relating to mental health and developed an actionable plan for a Local Health District’s Mental Health Services.
The project involved:
- summarising 24 existing and in-publication mental health frameworks, policies and findings from commissions (this review revealed 588 potential actions)
- identifying local opportunities for improvement and action with mental health team members
- theming actions and developing local recommendations
- developing a consolidated action plan to progress priorities and improve the experiences and outcomes of care for people using local health services
- providing an executive summary to enable clear and consistent communication about the work.
