Precinct Strategy project was a cooperative project across the Precinct’s partners, collaborators and community, supported by healthy partnerships. The project involved review of key documents, consultation with stakeholders and governance groups across collaborating organisations, and several interdisciplinary working groups to develop and refine the Precinct’s inaugural strategy. Importantly, the strategy built on what was understood to be governmental priorities at present and into the future, in relation to university partnerships, health precincts and fostering innovation.
The fast-paced project involved regular checkpoints to ensure accuracy of information, to reach consensus on information to be included (and how that information was to be structured) and to collaborate with experts to select appropriate measures and KPIs for use over the Strategy’s lifespan.
This project was delivered entirely via virtual committees and workshops, due to travel restrictions associated with COVID-19.
